Meet Molley—
I grew up in a musical family, so it’s probably not a surprise that I've always had a love for all things music and singing. And as far back as I can remember, it’s been my dream to be a recording artist. After graduating college, I spent several years traveling the world singing background vocals for other artists as well as leading worship. It wasn’t until the beginning of 2017 that I knew it was finally time to walk away from what felt familiar and comfortable, and start out on my own journey to chase that dream of being an artist and share my heart through music with the world.
Why now? Well, as they say, timing is everything.
Before I could really take this next big step with confidence, I had to let Jesus do a lot of work in my life. It was His deep transformation in me and the awakening of my heart that gave me the newfound freedom to start writing songs— songs that shared my heart for others to know this kind of life with Jesus was possible for them, too.
And Heart Songs is just that! A collection of songs that come from a very real place—songs of freedom, lightness, beauty, joy, and wholeness. It is a dream come true to share these songs with you, and I hope that in listening, you too are inspired to open up your heart to Jesus and let Him bring you life like you’ve never known before.
What else do you need to know about me? Well, I love living in Atlanta, but my favorite place on the planet is my hometown of Rosebud, Arkansas. I would choose spending time there with my friends and family over just about anything else. I could watch The Sound of Music on repeat because it’s my all-time favorite movie. And when I’m not doing those things, you can find me shopping the aisles of Target (my favorite store obviously!), drinking a Dr. Pepper, or listening to music that inspires me from artists like John Mayer, Coldplay, and of course, my girl Dolly Parton.
